Nudgebar & Bullbar FAQ • Do you fit nudgebars and bullbars? Yes. We make and stock a wide range of steel,alloy and stainless products in both airbag and non-airbag compatable variants. • Can you custom build nudgebars or bullbars? Yes this is an option. We generally need to sight the vehicle before a quote can be given however. • Can I get a bullbar or nudgebar fitted to my passenger car? It is illegal by New Zealand law to fit these product to private motor cars (MA class), a WOF will not be issued hence we do not promote this policy. • Are your bullbars rated? Generally bullbars are NOT rated, they are however all designed and manufactured to exacting standards. Only front bullbars which are rated as airbag compatible are certified. • What is the difference between steel, aluminium or stainless? Steel bars offer greater protection than alloy bars do. A lot of it comes down to finish. Steel bars are either painted or powdercoated, alloys bars have a high polish finish and stainless bars offer a brighter finish again. • Are there any reasons you won’t be able to fit a nudgebar/bullbar? Some airbag equipped vehicles cannot have bullbars fitted. Although we do a range of airbag compatible bullbars, there are still exceptions. Please call us to determine the suitability of fitting our products to your vehicles. • Can you make my bull bar over strength? This is not recommended. Whilst Bullbars are designed to protect, they also need to collapse to a degree in a collision – over engineered bullbars are dangerous.
